HOSES Program Summary
(Hotelarious Snowball Education Support)
Hotelarious Management will provide one student at a time with full package of school fee. Yayasan Bhumi Bali Swari (YBBS) that works in humanitarian and education sectors will provide us with list of underprivileged candidates that fit the program. In the future if budget permits, YBBS will also provide school fees. Selected student will claim their Diploma at the Hotel & Cruise International College (HCIC), Denpasar.
First Ten Years Forecast
Hotelarious is aiming every student to pay-forward the program on the third year. Successful target would bring at least 30 students in the first ten years period.
First Twenty Years Forecast
The good news is that the curve amazingly increased after 20 years, which is 110 students. Imagine if we could support two students at a time, we will definitely be surprised.
Candidates for 2024
Putu Andika Suwambawa
Putu is currently walking his final grade at a Senior High School so called SMK PGRI 5 Denpasar. He focuses on kitchen-related-subject that he wished to bring it into practice anywhere overseas. Working in a well established cruise ship is one of his top bucket list. His father has been working in a villa in Seminyak, while his mother is a boutique attendant. They're working hard but their needs are still way higher than they could earn monthly.

Putu Aryanta Tirta Atmaja
Putu lives in north Bali and got two younger sisters: Kadek (14) and Komang (1). His parents are both working in the private sectors that make very low income to afford decent living. He is very diligent and a hard worker. He has committed to work in a cruise ship to improve his family's financial matters.

Hotelarious collected some IDR8.354.500 (about U$565) at the #BaliBoundWithDarius community service at Kelapa Muda Ubud, on Tuesday 21st November 2023. In order to secure the second student we will need another IDR10,700,000 (around U$750) for the school fee alone. School enrollment is started in February 2024, the class itself will take place in July 2024.
More funds will also be required for them to secure their first job after graduation in 2025. We will update everything on the blog. Thank you so much for your kind support, may god blessed you all!
